I’m taking some vacation next week. We’re not going anywhere, but we’re going to enjoy it. The boys are on spring break, we’re going to play hard, and we will also be able to take care of some little projects around the house…..it’s a great thing.

Please continue to pray for artists who are preparing pieces for ‘Beginnings’, the Art Show & Sale coming to CFC in May. As of 3/18 we had 89 submissions in every category and division. We will still be accepting pieces through the 27th, and we are feeling pretty good about exceeding 100 entries for the inaugural show.

the 18th of March marks the anniversary of my penning regular thoughts in a journal. I bought ‘moleskine’ (the legendary journal of Hemingway, Van Gogh & Picasso) a year ago and began writing down as much as I could capture about what I read, think about, hear, and wrestle with. The point of this project was to try and synthesize what voices(people, family, etc), ideas, & teachings inform my perspective. It’s been a good year. I can look back and almost watch my perspective unfold and that is both a bit creepy and also completely fascinating. If you ever want to do the same, look me up, I know some great ‘moleskine’ hacks, that will help you keep your thoughts in a searchable order.
